Deontology and non-discrimination
All Magrey & Sons' agents have attended a 7-hour training course on the regulations and ethics of the real estate professions during the year 2021. The objectives of this training focused on the regulatory fundamentals framing the real estate professions and compliance with the new regulation on non-discrimination. This allows to take stock of discriminating behaviours, to set up an anti-discrimination policy in the agency and to revise the knowledge on the deontology related to the real estate profession.
Several topics were covered, such as the regulations governing real estate professions, their framework, criminal liability, Tracfin (Treatment of Information and Action Against Illicit Financial Circuits) and the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism in real estate, the legal obligations of real estate professionals, ethical responsibility and the fight against discrimination.
Corporate Social Responsibility
The Magrey & Sons Group is committed to reducing its impact on the environment. For this reason, various actions have been implemented in the group's agencies:
- sorting and recycling of waste
- reduction of paper use
- low resolution and double-sided printing
- use of low-energy light bulbs
- purchasing in short circuits when possible
- development of telecommuting
- promotion of diversity and gender equality
Commitment to the environment
Magrey & Sons supports Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, created in 2006. This foundation is dedicated to the defense of the environment, the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale and the protection of the planet.
The Foundation finances projects that aim to limit the effects of climate change by promoting renewable energies, preserving biodiversity and proper management of water resources to combat desertification. It operates in the Mediterranean Basin, the Polar Regions and the Least Developed Countries (according to the official United Nations list).
The various projects supported provide concrete answers to current environmental problems by fighting deforestation, developing protected marine areas or organizing better management of access to water resources in developing countries. These actions are not exhaustive and we invite you to consult the Foundation's website to learn more.
To support these projects, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation relies on a network of donors, individuals or companies, for whom the environmental issues of our modern societies are fundamental.
